Severe storms heading towards the Scenic Rim | Beaudesert Times

The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, at 4:25 pm, severe thunderstorms were detected on the weather radar near Jimna, Cunninghams Gap and Border Ranges National Park. These thunderstorms are moving towards the northeast. They are forecast to affect Moogerah Dam, Aratula and Borumba Dam by 4:55 pm and Boonah, the area southwest of Gympie and the ranges between Gympie and Murgon by 5:25 pm. Large hailstones, damaging winds and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding are likely.
